The micro wedding and elopement packages are designed for smaller gatherings and don’t include a reception or after-party. If you’re envisioning a more traditional reception, their full wedding package might be a better fit. The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park lies just 45 minutes from Denver, in the Evergreen foothills. However, it’s the breathtaking stained glass windows that first stole my heart when I laid eyes on this place.

Your rental of The Barn includes use of three distinct levels and an inviting outdoor ceremony space. Inside, you’ll find The Loft, featuring mesmerizing stained glass windows that exude a sophisticated boho aesthetic. This cozy, intimate space is perfect for micro weddings of up to 50 guests. Meanwhile, from the outdoor ceremony space, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the nearby peaks of the Continental Divide. Don’t be surprised if you catch a glimpse of deer, elk, or even buffalo roaming the property!

The Barn offers packages starting at $3,500 for 8 hours of weekday event time and increasing to $8,000 for 12 hours of Saturday event time. Additionally, a $500 discount is available for weekend events between November and April.

When you choose The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park as your micro wedding venue, you’ll enjoy access to all three levels of the venue, including the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room. You can choose to host your intimate wedding ceremony on the Cabin Lawn, South Lawn, Greenbriar Falls, or inside one of several dining rooms. Following your ceremony, you are free to explore the entire grounds for your wedding photos.

The Inn’s chefs have designed the menu around seasonal American cuisine, featuring ingredients from their own gardens. Meadow Creek Lodge

Meadow Creek Lodge lies on 34 scenic acres just 30 miles from downtown Denver. The Colorado micro wedding venue offers a private retreat for your multi-day celebration, with exclusive access from 2 p.m. the day before your wedding until 10 a.m. the day after. 

During your stay, you and up to 20 guests can enjoy on-site lodging in the main lodge and honeymoon cabin. While the lodge features a cozy living room, dining area, full kitchen, and six bedrooms, the honeymoon cabin ensures a private retreat just a short walk away. In addition to lodging, you and your guests can explore hiking trails, unwind in the dry sauna, or relax among the peaceful mountain surroundings.

The venue also provides custom wood farm tables, round and banquet tables, folding chairs, and lawn games. The View at Madge Gulch

The View at Madge Gulch offers 30 acres of panoramic mountain views, serene ponds, and rugged rock outcroppings, all less than an hour from Denver. In addition to these outdoor spaces, your reservation includes use of two separate getting ready areas and a modern barn for receptions of up to 50 guests.

The venue’s all-inclusive package includes tables, chairs, linens, a custom cutting cake, and a coordinator’s assistance for $5,900. The Colorado micro wedding venue closes during the winter months, and, as such, reservations for this serene location are only available from May through October.

Micro Wedding Venues 1-2 hours from Denver

Blue Sky Mountain Ranch

Blue Sky Mountain Ranch is a secluded mountain top lodge set on a stunning 100+ acre estate, just over an hour from Denver. With breathtaking views of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, this micro wedding wedding venue is perfect for an unforgettable celebration.

The venue provides a variety of packages tailored to different wedding sizes, starting at $3,000 for an elopement of up to 12 people. The elopement package includes lodging, ceremony site rental, reception dinner, and bottle of bubbly. The package is available year-round, excluding major holiday weeks, with discounts for Monday through Wednesday bookings.

For larger celebrations of 13-85 attendees, their micro wedding package starts at $7,500. The micro wedding package includes exclusive use of the ceremony site with benches and an arch, as well as up to five hours use of the flagstone patio reception space. The reception area features farm tables, benches, bistro lighting, a rope-lit dance area, and a power station for your DJ or band. Two nights of lodging for up to 12 people are also included in your reservation, allowing you to extend your celebration for multiple days. The package is available from June 1st through the first weekend of October.

If you’re looking for a simple ceremony without a reception, the Mountain Ceremony Site Only package provides a stunning outdoor location for your vows and photos for $350-$500 per hour. 

Ski Tip Lodge

Venue on the Rocks

Venue on the Rocks is a charming outdoor-only venue located in Estes Park, Colorado. Also used as a downtown coffee shop, this venue transforms for weddings and private events. While the shop remains open during regular hours, it closes for private events, ensuring exclusive use of the space on your special day.

Designed for smaller gatherings, Venue on the Rocks accommodates up to 50 guests, making it an ideal spot for an intimate wedding or elopement. In addition to its riverfront location, the picturesque property features a pond and pavilion with views that complement the surrounding rustic beauty.

The entire micro wedding venue is outdoors, making it perfect if you envision tying the knot amongst Colorado’s natural landscapes. However, it’s important to prepare for weather-related surprises. While there is a pavilion for some overhead coverage, having a plan in place for potential weather changes—especially during spring and fall—is recommended. 

Fall is a particularly stunning and popular time for weddings at Venue on the Rocks. The aspen trees surrounding the property transform into vibrant shades of yellow and orange, creating a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding photos. Due to its popularity during this season, early booking is recommended to secure your preferred date.

Venue on the Rocks allows you to make a reservation for just your ceremony, just your reception, or both your ceremony and reception. Ceremony-only packages start at $1,500, reception only packages start at $3,000, and combined packages start at $4,500. Taharaa Mountain Lodge

Taharaa Mountain Lodge is a micro wedding-friendly Estes Park venue that features breathtaking views and a welcoming atmosphere. The venue can accommodate up to 120 guests but also offers an intimate wedding package designed for up to 50 guests. 

The lodge features two outdoor ceremony sites that overlook the mountains—the Pergola and the Overlook Room. Inside, the Twin Owls Great Room is ideal for an inviting reception space, complete with vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, antler chandeliers, and large windows that frame the scenic mountains just outside your door.

The Lodge’s intimate wedding package caters to celebrations of 20 to 50 guests, making it perfect for a cozy celebration with your nearest and dearest. The Overlook Room is reserved privately for your party, providing an ideal setting for your intimate dinner, cake cutting, and first dances; however, group dancing is not permitted. 

Two fully customizable food and beverage packages are available, featuring world-class cuisine from the Twin Owls Steakhouse. The buffet-style meal includes an appetizer platter, three entrée choices, a champagne toast, cake cutting services, and all necessary table settings.

The intimate wedding package includes private use of the rental space, onsite parking, planning and event management, standard floor-length linens, and non-alcoholic beverages. Custom bar packages are also available for your reception. Although the intimate wedding package does not include lodging or getting ready space, you can separately reserve accommodations at the lodge for you and your guests.

Bristlecone Inn

Bristlecone Inn is conveniently located just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park and specializes in micro weddings and elopements. The historic inn features a reception hall that can accommodate a seated reception for up to 60 guests, paired with two spacious fenced-in yards and an outdoor patio. This combination gives you options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, making it easy to create a contingency plan in the event of inclement weather. Plus, Bristlecone Inn’s beautifully maintained gardens and towering pine trees provide a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and wedding portraits.

Although the reception hall can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests, if you prefer an intimate ‘just us’ elopement, the venue warmly welcomes you as well. Wedding day catering is provided by Jubilations Catering, which focuses on local, seasonal ingredients. Their customizable menu options and comprehensive bar packages, featuring home-brewed beers, spirits, and classic wines, will fit seamlessly with your wedding vision. 

The venue fee includes four hours of event time, plus four hours of pre-event preparation. Amenities include chairs and tables for 50 guests, linens, utensils, complimentary coffee, iced water, and parking for up to 12 vehicles. You’ll also find existing pre-set decorations available for a stress-free yet personalized touch.

Wedding packages vary by year, season, and day of the week, starting at $1,500 for an off-season reception and increasing to $2,750 for peak-season ceremonies and receptions. A minimum food purchase of $850 is required, with a 25% service charge added to all food and beverage prices. If you hire a bartender through the Bristlecone Inn, a $10 per hour gratuity fee applies.
